# International Earth Day with Joan

We’re passionate about saving our planet — are you?
The official goal of [Earth Day](https://www.earthday.org/earth-day-2022/) is to “invest in our planet.” 🌎

At Joan, we specialize in workspace management but we are well aware of the problems our environment is facing. We want to spread awareness but also make a difference by actively planting trees and regrowing our forests.

To plant a tree, all you have to do is fill out the form below!
After that, you will receive a link to a short quiz about the environment! Solve it to plant another one! 🤓

## The importance of trees

#### Reducing CO2

Planting trees is [the cheapest effective way to reduce carbon dioxide ](https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2019/jul/04/planting-billions-trees-best-tackle-climate-crisis-scientists-canopy-emissions)(CO2) greenhouse gasses from our atmosphere.

#### Shaping our planet

Forests help shape our planet, preventing landslides and even diverting floods.

#### Natural habitat

Rainforests are home to [50 percent of all plants and animals on the planet](https://www.livescience.com/63196-rainforest-facts.html). To save these species, we’re going to need a lot more trees.
